Our Young American!

Stone had his 5th grade program yesterday, celebrating our country! He did a great job! He is also one of only four kids in the entire 5th grade to be receiving the "YOUNG AMERICAN AWARD." This award requires the kids to recite the pledge of alliegence, memorize several of our country's patriotic songs, list every president in order. Name and label each state and its capital, memorize the Bill of Rights, and the Preamble, as well as answer 100 question test on America! We are so proud of him! He loves school, and has had an amazing teacher; Mrs.Casperson, and is sad to see the school year come to an end! We also found out at the end of the yar assembly that stone received the national level award for scoring in the top ten percent in the nation on the IOWA tests in Math and overall Core Academics! Go Stone!!!

Greyson had his 4th grade Utah History program yesterday, It was very cute, the square dancing was a bit embarrasing to him, but it was his first time dancing with a girl, and I had to make sure to document this occasion! We also made this great diarama for his County Report, he did a great job!

A Tale of Sin City:

We spent 5 crazy days in Las Vegas with my parents. We packed everything we could into those days including: Shark Reef, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, Extreme Magic Show, swimming, M&M Factory, Star Trek: The Experience, Tournament of Kings, etc. The greatest part of the trip for Grey was when he was called up on Stage at the Magic show to work with the Magician! We all had an amazing time, but were thrilled to get home (our feet are still killing us!)

Miss Ella!

Everyone has the latest and greatest photo of Ella on their blog, but this one is my favorite, it's a month old, but it shows what a sweet, precious baby she is. We love Ella. We always fight over who gets to hold her when we are together (but I usually win.)

Welcome Home Mandy!

We are so happy to have Mandy home from her mission, we missed her so much, she is such an amazing member of our family, and her absence was noticeable for all of us. She has such a great spirit, and fun-loving personality. We Love You Mandy Girl!

Party like a Rockstar!

We had a party at our house to welcome Mandy home from her mission, and to wish her good luck on her upcoming surgery. Things got a little out of hand (as out of hand as things can get at a family gathering). Check out our pics of everyone jammin' to Rockband (they seriously think its real folks, you can see it in their faces!) Really, Rockband is one of the greatest games created, it really allows you to have a good time with a bunch of people! We love it, and play it whenever we have a chance.

BYE BYE CARLY!

Not one of the most entertaining Idol Sessions, don't get me wrong, Andrewy Lloyd Weber is talented, in his own place and time, Rock and Roll is not the place or the time however.
David cook is safe, WAHOO!!!! Sad but true, Carly had to leave last night. At least we won't have to stare at those tatooed arms any longer! Get some clothes chick!
